The English Language Competence team at the Department of English and American Studies is seeking a motivated and creative student assistant to join us in developing innovative ways to integrate AI into language learning. This is a 10-hour-per-week position for the summer semester 2025.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist the team in designing teaching activities that incorporate AI tools
- Create adaptable templates for AI-enhanced teaching activities
- Expand the templates into course-specific exemplars of teaching activities
- Organize feedback collection on the templates and exemplars
Requirements:
- Current enrolment in the teacher education programme at the Department of English and American Studies
- Experience with, or strong interest in, AI applications in language learning/teaching
- Teaching experience desirable
