The SSS Anglistik (StudiesServiceUnit) is responsible for issues and questions concerning your studies at the Department of English and American Studies.

Telephone support
Do you have an urgent question? You can give us a call Monday to Thursday between 11:00-12:00.
Please note that due to data protection reasons we can only provide you with general information and cannot answer questions about your individual case.

Individual consultation
Do you wish to discuss your study progress or maybe have questions how you should plan your semester?
We offer individual appointments for our counselling sessions on Mondays and Thursdays.

Students enrolled at the University of Vienna are asked to send their email from the u:net email address.
Submission of documents of any kind (applications for recognition, issuing degree certificates, etc.) happens online.

Please register for a slot via Termino (Office Hours). You can choose to attend on site or online via BBB (BigBlueButton on Moodle), please do not forget to indicate your choice.
After booking your slot, please send a brief email to sss.anglistik(at)univie.ac.at, mentioning the problem/subject you wish to discuss. If you chose to have an online consultation, you need to contact us so we can send you the BBB Link and password.
Cancel an Appointment
If you cannot make it to your appointment, please CANCEL in advance. You can cancel or reschedule via the link in the confirmation e-mail. Please cancel in good time if you cannot attend.
On site counselling will take place at the SSS Office at the Department (address in the contact box below). Please bring your u:card and any relevant documents with you.
Online counselling will take place via BBB (Moodle). Please send us a brief email, and we'll send you the link and password.
Please note: the login page is the waiting room, if you try to join before we start the meeting. You do not need to log in again, please wait on the page until you are admitted.
